4’ Table, Rolled Edge Top And 2 Attached Rolled Edge Seats, 3/4” #9 Expanded Metal, 2 3/8” Legs

This rectangular picnic table features top and seats made from 3/4” #9 gauge expanded metal and rolled 3” radius edges with a protective plastisol coating. It is constructed from heavier steel to prevent sagging and extra bracing under the frame is made with 1 ½” x ¼” flats. This extra steel is important to keep the rounded corners and the frame straight and good looking over years of hard abuse.

The top and seats are coated with ultraviolet stabilized thermoplastic coating, fused and baked to 90% gloss finish. The high gloss finish is important, not only for good looks, but also in helping the ultraviolet stabilizer in the coating decrease fading over years of sunlight exposure. The best choice for corrosive free and maintenance free is thermoplastic coating over steel.

The frame is a walk through design made from heavy wall 2 3/8” galvanized steel tubing. The frame is welded together by 2”x2” angle iron. The diagonal and cross braces that bolt from the frame to the table are made of 1” galvanized steel tubing. For added protection and good looks, the frame is coated with baked-on polyester powder coat in addition to the galvanizing.

Notes on Thermoplastic Colors & Finishes: Traditionally all colors of this product have been made with a gloss polyethylene finish but has changed to a matte polyethylene finish as of 5/1/08. The matte finish is less susceptible to marring and scratching that may occur with a gloss finish.
